I get you. But are they simply saying Balotelli is a douchebag? No, are they saying Balotelli is retarded punk? No, nothing insulting directly only related to him, but saying "nigger you arent italian" (Bordeaux game, not Udinese game) Or Negro the merda" (like what got us stadium banned last season). Thats RACISM. Its something that insults every single person of colour in Italy (or in general), being demeaned and desparaged for the skin of once's colour. It doesnt get any simpler then that. I mean, seriously (same shit with general ethnic slurs like zingaro, or anti-semitism, anything that that makes a sweeping desparaging remark of WHOLE group of people, race, ethnicity, nationality, and not just some stupid insult regarding one individual).

This is not rocket sciene exactly.
I don't believe were the only team in Italy that does it, yet we always get highlighted for it.

The stuff last year is bad. And I appreciated the "Se saltelli, muore Balotelli" stuff. Does that make the repeats of last year OK in Bordeaux? No.

But I can't help but think UEFA is just pouring gasoline on a fire. I doubt any of that would have come up in Bordeaux if they weren't trying to classify clearly non-racial antagonistic chants as racism. If they're going to be called racist chants no matter what they say, then why not give them the racist chants?

It doesn't justify it, but it's forcing the issue. If you're going to be accused of heinous crimes even when you're innocent of them, you might as well get the satisfaction of doing it. As such, I would not be surprised if many who joined the chorus in Bordeaux changed sides on the issue after FIGC's/UEFA's reaction -- people who thought, "Oh, so now because I think Balotelli is a jerk, that makes me a racist now, am I? Well here's your frigging racism, asswipes. You want it, you've got it!"

What makes this all the more about FIGC's and UEFA's reaction, and not even so much about Balotelli, is that these chants happened in a wholly different country than where Balotelli was at the time. It's becoming clear that the chants are no longer being directed at Balotelli so much as those who think any dislike for a black man must be racism.

What are you, 8? Thats very childish stand point and doesnt change the fact of this whatsoever (they are populistic two faced bitches who go for profile cases that get media buzz, anything Juve does will, not what Bologna do). Because it doesnt justify this shit at all in anyway. Thats what matters.

Your above post clearly illustrates many of you wouldnt saying this at all if it was related to other club except Juve (I repeat, anyone reminder Lazio?)

Propaganda, Oz. Don't care who says it this jump chant is not racist and the folks that originally thought it was are wrong. That's all there is to it.

Because we are a big club with lots of media attention. Media attention that "force" their lazy two faced populistic asses, (looking like you are doing something in one case, instead of fix the overall problem consistently) just like they dont give a fuck to suspend divers in no name games, and jumped on punishing Eduardo and Adriano just because they are high profile players in high profile games that caused an outrage. Textbook case of populism (though hardly populistic to deal with racism, but just bigger media profiled cases they are way more likely to deal with).

Do you even bother read what you reply to? Or are you doing it on purpose?

If you cant pay attention, (and more busy just thumb upping what others say) see the post Nick replied to and what it was regarding before you repeat the same thing all the time to my posts even when its not relevant (cliffnotes: the post he replied to was about racism and not that chant you conveniently go back to at all times).

You don't understand. These recent truly racist chants were bred after folks like you thought this jump chant was racist, hence the loudspeaker racism 'taunt'.

Is it natural understandable progression to reply to being reprimanded for something, that you turn into KKK? (and does it make any racist to say it?) Yes or no. Because anything more seems to be too demanding from you.

It appears to have the same mechanics of civil disobedience, where you protest an unfair law or rule by flaunting it.

If Balotelli was anywhere near the field, that would be one thing. He wasn't even in the same country. Which leads me to believe this has a lot more direction towards UEFA/FIGC than Balotelli at this point.

Who protests by chanting racist chants? Seriously? (normal reaction of ultra idiots are generally violence, loud demonstrations or some kind of righteous boycott)

Clearly people who already are bigoted (and no shit when italia HAS a clear problem with racism). Its not something out of the blue anyone would do out of disobedience, need I to remind the same ultras, without "provacation" chanted negro di merda last season and got us banned? There is no convenient disobedience argument for that (neiher do I buy it for a second now, but for arguments sake)..

Nothing compared to the amount brain cells you lose trying to come up with something remotely tangible to say.
By tangible do you mean shots of Cuervo? Because that is something tangible, as in something I can hold, as in holding right now.

But you're still going overboard and missing the main point about how this most recent sequence of events happened.

Andy: You should actually bother to post when you something to say on the matter, not when just repeating the same empty platitudes and not even adressing the posts you quote. I mean, just a tip?

And here is Juve undermining itself: http://juventus.com/site/eng/NEWS_newsseriea_8CE8AF3CD8954DC584DACD89DE69FAA9.asp

    Against Racism

The day after the match against Bordeaux, Juventus confirms its condemning of any form of racism. In addition to the words by Momo Sissoko, spoken at the end of the match, come those of president Jean-Claude Blanc, who already prior to the match, had guaranteed the club’s commitment in the battle against racism.

«I am absolutely contrary to any form of racism is sport and in life» said Momo Sissoko. «Us players – continued the midfielder – have confirmed our position on every occasion. We did all possible and Juventus as club took all the necessary steps. Now it is the institutions that must intervene».

«As I declared before the match – said president Blanc – Juventus will never stop being against any form of racism until all chants and attitudes that we have always censored disappear completely. We try to transmit the culture of respect and fair play to our youngsters, we collaborate with UNESCO to promote these values and we want our stadium to be a place where everybody feels at home and where children can live a sport experience».

Regardless if it's racist or not, tasteless or not, funny or not, it will come back to haunt us a lot. Forget the fine we paid, it was just the beginning. If such chants continue, only Juventus will be the victims.

I am sure that Mourinho will have a ''special'' conversation with the poor, brainless, black boy before the game, who btw will be a starter against us! They will do everything to provoke our fans on the match day, i am 100 % sure of it!!!
