I think the whole idea of supporting should be that you do so even in rough times?

As for me, it's a tough call but still not that tough. It's Juve above all, except if they would somehow face Sweden one day.
Which is what I do. I just don't know why, because patriotism doesn't make sense to me.

Americans, Scots, Englishmen, for example, tend to be very patriotic people. Probably because of their history where there was lot of fighting for freedom, independence, whatever. If you're an American, Enlglishman or Scot, it's easier to love your country because of the standards of living and the priveleges and rights you have. But would you be patriotic if you lived in a fucked country like Rwanda or Zimbabwe?

Yes. These countries have historic and traditionnal culture. Being a patriotic person means you have pride in your country, so basically, the place means little. But, when you are in a country where culture tends to disappear (AKA Canada), you'll see obviously with a certain proportion a bit less people that are patriotic.

For me country comes before the club.

If there was some hypothetical scenario I had to pic and choose on pure emotion alone. It would be:

Somalia (though no real NT, bigger issues...) > Juve > Sweden > Italy.

Meaningless though. In reality, I watch and care for Juve then any of the above put together.

I go apeshit if the US win a friendly against the Solomon Islands. Some people were surprised when we were pumped about the Confed Cup, but those people can fuck off and have a thought.

I think if people actually imagined their perspective National Teams(Italy doesn't count, yes you can cheer for them but they aren't your national team) winning something they'd have a different opinion.

It's definitely NT.
