Since it's you who's asking the question, I'll go with Rossi :D (I honestly do like him.)

Honestly though, my pick out of that lot would be Ribery or Pastore. But neither of those is a player I would really like at Juve, for the reasons that were mentioned earlier. If we're talking attacking players, I'm more interested in guys like Lukaku, Dzeko (too late, I know), Vucinic, ... But even when talking about these players that I would like at Juve, I still wouldn't go overboard with our spending, so for example Dzeko was impossible anyway.
Lukaku will be a fortune and might not have what it takes either, so I'm not sure why you'd want him on the team, judging by your other responses.

There's a difference in paying 25m for Lukaku & giving him wages of (give or take) 1,5m a season.

and

paying 30m or more for Neymar (for example) & giving him wages of (give or take) 4,5m a season.

Besides, you asked me to name a few players. And like I have probably said earlier, I prefer down to earth team players like Lukaku, to the more fancy, selfish kind of players like Neymar.
But I obviously do agree that Lukaku may already be out of our reach, financially speaking and that spending so much money on a hot prospect may not be the smart thing to do right now for us right now anyway.

Stereotype.

I just don't understand how one can say yes to Lukaku yet no to Neymar and Pastore. Doesn't make any sense to me, and probably never will.

You're Belgian, right?

Huh?

Do you even know what the word stereotype means? And if you do, what does that have to do with which kind of players I like or dislike?

Well, I have tried to explain why I prefer one player over the other. Not sure what's so difficult to understand about it. It's not exactly rocket science.

But let me try again:
Despite liking some of the players in the poll, I would still prefer others at Juve => examples are asked & given => one player is singled out to continue the discussion => details are provided why I like him better than those in the poll.

And yes, I'm Belgian. Not sure what that has to do with it though? You picked Lukaku out of the ones I posted, not me. Besides, I'm not really patriotic anyway.

That's the same stereotype purported by two crowds. One has never seen him play, the other has but doesn't like him for his nationality and skin color.

Much of what you stated before applies to Lukaku as well.

Let's see:

Lukaku: meh. Right now I'm not convinced he is that great. Pass

Lukaku: Really good player. But considering what Anderlecht's stand up comedian is looking for in terms of money: hells no. Also, it will be interesting to see how his career will look a year or so from now. Will he really have what it takes? Pass.

Lukaku: The hype of the moment, probably justified as well. Not a big fan of these kind of players though (tall, lanky). Pass.

Lukaku: He would obviously improve our attack, but I really don't think we can get a player like him, financially speaking.

Clearly, the "none of the above" option was missing in this poll...
See, it works pretty well.

Note to self: don't ever bother replying to Andy again. It's just not worth it.

I will agree with you on every subject from now on, just to be on the safe side. So from now on, you're the one who gets to decide which players I would like at Juve & which players I wouldn't like at Juve. I will have absolutely no say in it.

And by the way, thanks for basically calling me a racist (I know, you didn't use the word or didn't address me directly, but it's clear enough). Apparently I do use a lot of stereotypes when it comes to football players.
Unlike you when it comes to Italian players or, god forbid, G. Rossi.

Edit: instead of saying players I would like or dislike having at Juve, I should probably say preferring one player over the other, since I wouldn't exactly "dislike" Ribery at Juve...

I simply said you used the same stereotype. :D

Don't be angry, it just makes no sense to say no to the other players and yes to Lukaku. They share similar characteristics.

I say yes to Lukaku, Pastore, Neymar, Benzema, Sanchez, and anybody who has talent provided it doesn't ruin the club financially. The purpose of this thread was not to discuss the financial details anyway, at least that's what it looks like.

Okay, I'm done with this anyway.

But if you think Lukaku shares similar characteristics with Neymar or Pastore, then I don't think you've seen Lukaku play. He's like the exact opposite :D
