Salman did you watch Roger Water's "In the flesh live" ?
Duh..I think I disagree with every word you said there.
Pulse for me wins hands down, no questions asked, however you wanna put it. It's probably the best concert experience for me, when all things are considered, effects, stage, performance, etc. Few things come close, Queen at Wembley and Zepp at Royal Albert Hall(such a raw, powerful performance from 1970) first come to mind. But that's a matte of tastes at the end of the day.
As for Pink Floyd in the car...be it with Water, Gilmour, or both of them...that just doesn't work. Pink Floyd is simply not car music for me, when I listen to Floyd I put on my Sennheiser's headphones, lie in my bed, close my eyes and just drift away.

I agree with you on the mood Pink Floyd set.As ive already mentioned,The Wall live is an exception to it.But almost every other album related to Pink Floyd should be heard either when you're high and you're alone,or when you feel a bit too intellectual and philosophical.I dont really enjoy listening to the band with a crowd either. For me,its a very personal and almost sacred experience. The Great Gig In The Sky is the ultimate hallucination experience for me
