This is another thing I'd like to see, too. He played there while with Chelsea, no?
He did, and he fits best in that formation. Tiago in that possition is other player than in 4-4-2.. well, actually he used to be.. i dont know if he is still. :) If there is not a buyer, ther is noting left to us, than try him there...

Anyway, Tiago in his best form (Lyon times..) will be a hell of a player. :agree:

hmm yea the more I think about it, I feel confident that it might work for him...he could just hang back and distribute the ball, wouldn't have to run too much with Marchi and Momo doing the donkey work, and won't have to think too much 'cos Diego and Ale will be the creative source...sounds like a sweet deal :p

Yeah, and make these insane goal-line clearances too!

True. Better than wasting 15m on Ledesma thats for sure. Plus, i have a feeling that he will link well with Diego... :)

What I'm hoping for is that Ciro plays Tiago in that role during this "Peace Cup" tournament, so we can see if there's potential or not. I don't want to see him frozen out of the squad or anything like that.

Yup, also i don't feel that Ledesma will better than Tiago

On that list, i will choose Hernanes, Toulalan...
A player like Mou Sissoko, M'Bia is different type of midfield than D'ago

Definitely better than wasting 15M on Ledesma. Why replace an inconsistent cog in ur machine with another one? I also have a feeling he might link up well with Diego; They both speak Portuguese ;)

I want hamsik obviously and Xabi. Honestly we wont get either. Sniejder is good but not the holding distributing player we need right now and I do love the dutch but a bit of a luxury IMO.
Hamsik is definitely an excellent player but I think it would be too much, Giovinco, Alex, Camo, Diego :), is it luxury :)????

Hernanes, Sneijder and Xabi would be dream signings, but i dont think we'll be able to financially compete for them.

Elano would be realistic and he is very talented but he wouldn't exactly be able to fill the hole we are looking for someone to fill. I agree that Tiago could be interesting playing in that position, def worth a shot. I also think Marchisio would be able to fill the 'quarterback' role as he's a great passer fot the ball. It wouldn't be the end of the world if we dont sign a mid but we need to really sort this defence out pronto!!
