I am really happy with the progression our team is making. Our offence is looking great moving the ball and creating. IF we were a bit more clinical would could have walked all over atletico today. I cant wait to see our growth in a few months. Our players are great but we lacked ideas and seemed stagnant in offence over the last few seasons. This is a great change. I can't remember a time we created so much against a top club.

I am glad that some of you can find some kind of solace in our dreadful appearance.
I am looking forward to tell us what you admired that much.
I saw a team that fails to Man marking, zone marking, offside trap.
A toothless midfield, easily dominated and outpaced at will, carved from the flanks, even straight through.
I have yet to see our midfield link with our forwards and this is the reason i kept and keep asking for an AMF is our primary target/need, hopefully Ramsey will magically solve all that and never ever miss a match.
I haven't seen those vertical passes and blazing one-twos i ve seen us trying vs Inter and k-stars, so thats why i felt we were worse than our very first Sarri games.
Cr7 shown no interest whatsoever, not even to compete with the boy that is considered his heir, we have no team, yet no individual effort too.
We were completely toothless out there and the goals Khedira scored was completely random in my opinion and nothing to be excited about.
Please do convince me of our sparks of brilliance!!

I think we looked much sharper than Atletico in terms of performance. We switched off for their goals but we played well. If we dominate opponents like that every game we will win a lot of games. Keep in mind we are playing a new CB pairing with a guy who does not speak Italian. The more he plays the better they will get as a unit. Compe how much we created to how we played top clubs in the past. We never have so much possession and chances created. Douglas Costa looks reborn, Rabiot looked strong and Higuain despite not scoring looks much more in the mood than he did last season for Milan and Chelsea. IF this is the change we see after a few weeks I welcome what we will be in a few months.

I really liked our performance. Remember ist a whole new approach and we only had on month.

On funny note though. The perfect fit for the attacker to this system was Moise Kean.

Higuain is finished!

Yeah kean leaving will come back to bite us.

New coach, new system, lots of new players, new era...won't gel overnight. I really think it will take at least the first half of season yo get this new project working well.

Lots of knee jerking either way.

All things considered, especially that we're behind in our preseason, the signs aren't all too bad. The team is moving the ball with a lot more purpose, that's for sure. Still relying a lot on crossing though. Hopefully we can devise a way to get players in behind. Ramsey is going to be a must this season.

The only worry with Sarri - does he have an answer to good counter-attacking sides? Can he keep a defense coordinated and compact?

If Douglas Costa can stay fit and keep playing he could be like a new signing for us. Sarri knows what to do with wingers, whereas Allegri treated wingers as quasi midfielders/fullbacks.

Higuain, after showing good touch and enthusiasm early, looked lost and out of sorts as he has done for the past two seasons. That CF spot looks very vacant at the moment.

I though we looked pretty good, we dominated chances against a team who apparently were going to run all over us in the form they were in.

At this stage in a completely new style of play we are going to give up chances and look disjointed. It's going to be a long process, but hopefully doesn't take too many dropped points to settle.

Completely agree. Apart for Napoli game at home we have very easy schedule in the beginning.

1. That's true that when the new manager tries to apply a new system which is completely different from what the club was used to for many years it's too soon to make any conclusions about his team's performance after several pre-season friendly games.

2. But. When the players move quickly, pass the ball to each other often, look confident and knowing what they do, but due to some details it still looks like they're almost there but aren't there yet, that's Sarri's football in a nutshell. When everything's under Sarri's team's control but at the end of the game they are the ones who lost it - that's the hallmark of sarriball and the reason this guy has got a career like he has.

Having said that, those who like what they saw and those skeptical about this game are equally right in this situation. Unfortunately, it will be impossible to say if Sarri's football has any chance at Juventus until it's April 2020.

If the team loses half of their games at the beginning of the season, it will be fair to say that the new manager deserves some time. If he shows a brilliant start, it will mean nothing either, because he's well known for good starts followed by a complete failure in the second half of the season.

Thus, if you really can't stomach the sarriball, it's a really good idea to skip the next season entirely. That's what I decided to do a few months ago, and that's what I'm going to do (didn't watch any game since, including this one). Otherwise it will be just a constant source of irritation and nothing more.

So let me put it this way, Stockholm is not that far away from where I live, a bit more than an hour drive. So I took the car as it was more convenient as there is a lot of work on the railroads. I can't stand driving in Stockholm and it gets worse when there is a big event, lots of people and traffic. The stadium is situated next to a huge shopping center so I decided to park my car in the shopping center parking lot, an idea that thousands others had. In the end I found an empty lot. Went to grab something to eat (thousands thought the same) and waited 45 minutes to get a burrito. It was good and we wanted to kill some time. Went to the stadium, the entry was smooth, long queue but it went fast, we had nice seats, our neighbors looked friendly. The wait went fast and the match started, my kid was very happy, his first live experience. I was starting to get irritated, the atmosphere was dull, when I scream people look at me with a strange look. Clap, the same. You could hear a needle if you drop one.

Let's talk football or better yet Sarriball, so what is it really? We are still the same toothless clueless team in attack, we have more possession but the midfield gets easily out muscled and overrun. The defense has changed, we defend higher and take more risks and invite for more. When things get crucial we are clueless and we leak. Like really leak. WOW, did we get a lot of corners? Nice, what for?

It took us more than two hours to leave the place, not to get to the car, that took only 45 minutes (queue to go in, queue to the elevator, queue to pay the parking ticket) No the two hours were to be able to leave the parking place.

So let me sum it , frustrating drive, a huge crowd, bad football, lame defending, useless attack, frustrated Ronaldo, same problems as with Allegri, much worse defense and all this to see Khedira score our only goal :lol2:

I see the delusion is huge though, the club has succeeded in what they want, to deceive a large chunk of the fans that we play better football, that there is a glimpse of hope. The club succeeded in stacking up a huge amount of clueless fans, the majority I saw were mostly interested in CR7 and DeLigt but not Juventus. But still the goals that fans demand are not even considered.

That was a glimpse of the season because come May/June, we will be empty handed and watching Inter and Napoli fight for the title. The CL? :lol2:
If we are lucky, we exit the group and take a shot at the EL and Coppa because other than these we are not made to be there.
Football under Sarri will become as “boring” as what we’re used too. He has no experience in the pressure that is Juventus. He’ll change his idealistic view” as soon as he’ll realize that fans here won’t accept if this club dosen’t look like one of the favorites in both league and the CL.

Get used to zero trophies with Sarri.
you complain a lot .... and on everything ...

you didn't liked Allegri and always look at his negatives ...

you are complaining about Sarri in every post ...and you don't want see the positives ....

first of all , the best chance to get a coach after Alegri is this man ...neither Pep nor Poch we can afford ...ZZ dumped us .

the man now have better team compared to Napoli & Chelsea ....give the man chance ...

we all know his OLD pattern of coaching ...but we are improving in terms of game play , especially this one you were complaining alot during Allegri

we just need to find the best defense line and we will be great ...

I hate Sarri, but no need to show this every post ....

one more thing, we have no competition in Serie A ...we will win eventually and Alegri , the master of collecting points , not leading any team ...

Napoli getting worse , Inter is Inter ...so just relax ....+ we will be better in CL and watchable ...
