he assists on alot of our goals though. and is a huge physical presence for defenders to deal with. capello realizes this and is using zlatan strategically, as he has stated many times.
i am in no way saying he is our best player. if i had it my way, del piero would be starting, however, capello is a genius and his decision is tactical and serves a purpose, thats the point im trying to make.

The latest 5 games, Zlatan has had 1 bad game. I'd say he's in a good form. DP has been great overall but versus Lecce he was one of the worst on the pitch. I'm all for the 3 attackers rotating properly or having all of them play together, but I cannot understand that you're actually wishing the injury of a Juve player who's been performing quite well.

Zlatan is fit and Del Piero is fit, Capello will bench Del Piero and start with Zlatan even if his form is shit. This is just wrong. Del Piero's form is outstanding and he should start while Zlatan sits on the bench. Now if Del Piero fails to perform, he can be subbed for Zlatan to play. This is how things normally work, but not with Capello.
In the case of the injured Zlatan, no one is celebrating, it is just a matter of the majority of the sound people who support the team for teh sake of the a good performance are glad that Zlatan is away. That was the only thing that will make Capello start with Del Piero ahjead of Zlatan.
Again concerning the injury, we all hope for a fast recovery AFTER the Bremen game.
