Ibrahimovic put on a superb display for Juventus, setting up two goals and pulling the strings in the 3-1 win at the Stadio Delle Alpi, but the temperamental striker has a short fuse and another act of indiscipline may have landed him in hot water again.
Although referee Salvatore Racalbuto appeared to miss the incident, pictures clearly showed Ibra hurling the ball at Marcello Cottafava, striking him on the back of the head, after the defender had attempted to prevent the Swede from taking a quick throw-in.
This is not the first time Sweden’s Player of the Year has found himself in this position.
Last season he was banned for three matches after swinging an arm at Inter stopper Ivan Cordoba – an incident that the match official missed at the time.
Fabio Capello will certainly take a dim view of this latest development. Although a huge fan of the 24-year-old, the Juve Coach is all too aware of the increasing frequency of Ibrahimovic’s indiscretions.
The Malmo-born forward has only just served a ban for a foolish sending off in the final minutes of his side’s Champions League win over Bayern Munich this month, after which Don Fabio insisted he would put the player right.
"We will sort him out," he had claimed. "He is young and needs to learn about attitude, but we will put him in line."
It appears that Capello will have to draw that line again.

Source: Football Italia
