I need some help with my wack computer (1 Viewer)

Check out this screenshot. Only since yesterday it showed in the taskbar "connected", when I'm connected to the internet and "dialing", when it is dialing. I think it may have something to do with kazaa. Any help on why it is doing this, would be appreciated.

I don't recognize the icon but it could be a p2p app like kazaa. Can't you identify the window that corresponds to the button on the taskbar?

Right click on it and try to close it.

Try hitting ctrl-alt-del and closing the program that way.

Look in your start folder maybe it is there...

What verison of windows do you have?

Those options sound like something I'd do...

Version of Windows - my guess is 98...

If it is 98 you can go to start, run, type "msconfig" in the window, then click on the upperright most tab to see all the programs that are enabled at startup, maybe it can be turned off from there.

There is a way to do it in newer verisions, I don't know how offhand though.

Ok, there is no window corresponding to it, nothing happens when I right click it, when I do ctrl alt del there is no program there corresponding either, it's not in the start-up, and I have Windows Me.
