first of all, there are many new members who join these forums. and a lot of them dont even have a single post. so therefore saying hi to everyone who joins the forums is difficult and a waste of time. if you post somewhere, people will probably notice and say hi.

It's a shame that when he/she gets over the "patheticness" and becomes more used to the forums and online interractions, you'll still act like an asshole.
