i have a serious problem (1 Viewer)

i have avery serious problem with my computer as it seems.....

whenever i want to open my windows media player,or to insert a picture from my camera,paste,cut or copy smg,it is not working,whenever i press on the smilies here,they are not responding...

what is happening??

when i want to open my windeows media player it is coming this out: can not perform operation,low memory.

this has started today...

what could possibly be the problem?

Sounds like you are de facto out of memory. Restart your computer, kill ALL the programs in the system tray which start with Windows EXCEPT the antivirus program. That alone should be an improvement.

Maybe exactly that LOW MEMORY?

Do you have any free space on your disk?

Sometimes programs leak memory, this means they occupy a lot of memory when you use them and then when they shut down (or crash) this memory is not released and you can run out of memory this way.

viruses and trojans cause similar problems, some occupy alot of the memory causing such problems

i haven't full even the half of my memory...

I was about to say that. I had similar problem and it was because of a trojan virus.

and what did you do anna?

but...everyhting else is ok in my pc.
all my pictures are ok...everything works.

I didnt do anything... But than it happened that I couldnt even turn on my computer!! Just because I didnt do anything!


I couldnt play music at all! Always it appeared an error just like in your case!

And I couldnt acces Scan Disk.

If you have Windows ME than you shoul go START-PROGRAMS-ACCESSORIES-SYSTEM TOOLS - SCAN DISK

That is a program for finding errors...

god,my heart got back in place.

now,windows media work,pictures are insert and copy paste works again.

i restarted the pc twice though

but now...i can't turn pictures from btm to jpg again.
i used to be able to do it,then the program fvcked and i couldn't,then somehow after few months SOMEOHOW i was able to work it again and now i can't again..

my pc is totally crazy,like it's owner

start....programs.....accessories....system tools.....disk defragmenter.........

btw it takes long time to finish...

Defragmenting doesn't have anything to do with this though. Even though it is a good idea, esp when your disk is almost full.
