I've heard good things about the British version of "The Office" though i haven't seen it yet. But please Alen, don't tell me you're watching the American version, i'd lose all respect for you.

The American version, yes.

I watched it back when they showed it on TV here and recently I ordered all seasons on DVD.
It's fucking brilliant.

I dont think you can make a judgement on the US without watching both. Obviously being the original our version is funnier but the us one ain't half bad either. Also considering how well Gervais has done in America since the office hit off there big time.

I haven't watched the British version so i won't comment on it at all. But the American version is lame as fuck, there is absolutely nothing funny about Carell making funny noises and weird faces and generally being awkward.

That pretty much explains why I see Lose Your Enthusiasm the same way others see It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Pfffffff. If you think that was the humor in it, then you should be the one we should lose all respect. :D

The office is pure brilliance, period
There is not a single thing in it that isn't hilarious. The closest USA got to British humor (which isn't surprising, considering the origin of the series).
