Good one, Mark77.
One year, while I was a grad student, I was doing my taxes for the previous year. Once I totaled up the numbers, I realized I had earned more money from an insurance settlement - when a car hit me on my bicycle - than I did on everything else combined. The sad part was that we're not talking some big pain-and-suffering settlement with me walking around in a neckbrace. It really just covered a totaled bicycle, which was a used, 8-year-old bike I bought off another grad student at that.
That year on the tax form box that asked my profession, I wrote in "stunt man".
