That sounds pretty stupid, no offence. Some people seem to believe there is potentially something worthwhile in everything they haven't tried yet. I firmly believe that for the most part I'm perfectly capable of distinguishing between things that have promise and those with no merit at all.

I dont call anyone losers. Usually I find out why someone does something be it a drug or sky diving or whatnot before I try it. That way even if I dont enjoy it I can respect the fact that they do.

Martin, if you look at my post I said within reason. I wont try something if its totally ludacris. Ive seen trainspotting enough to know the heroine is very bad. And I wasnt referring to only drugs. Thats only part of it, I meant all things from different foods to weed to music, sports, hobbies, etc. If you dont try something how can you know it sucks. Thats all I was saying.

Actually, I noted that you said "within reason" and I wasn't suggesting that it would make you try the most insane things. What I mean is that it seems like a completely arbirtary rule to follow and I don't see the rationale behind it. I have to say that between 5 new things I try, I end up liking maybe 1 of them. So why waste time on something that looks completely pointless just because I haven't tried it yet? See where I'm coming from?

I see. You don't want to waste time doing stuff you dont like. I just look at it like hey if I dont like this I dont have to do it again. And the next day, hour, minute, or whatever I do something else. I like to be open to new things. But I do see where you're coming from.

Gino, but he also said that people (the youngsters of the hoods) should fight against societies shackles and move on. He always said "this isn't for you" (not his exact wors, but something along those lines). So I doubt he promoted marijuana for others.

Coming from someone very indifferent to alcohol, I'd say you aren't missing much. I don't have more fun if I drink, I've only been drunk once (which wasn't intentional) and that sucked. Frankly it baffles me why people consider drinking to be such a thrill.
