I play in my local competition for a team called Horsley Park. I can play anywhere across the backline, but my preferred position is RB. Last year in July, i was involved in an ugly tackle and fractured my arm, that put me out for 10 weeks, but i got back just in time for the grand final and played the final 15mins. (pity we lost 2-0). Now this season, i havent had the best of luck either. 3 weeks ago, i fractured my right leg, which has put me out for another 10 weeks! I twisted it severly while getting caught up in a sliding tackle from an opponent. I have never felt so much pain in my life. I am now sitting at home everyday, doing nothing! After this injury, i have decided to quit playing the game. I love it so much but i cannot afford to be off work for so long. I guess in a little while, i will go back to playing 5-a-side indoor, but in the back of my mind i will always be afraid to get injured again. Hopefully my team will make the grand final again this season, so i can cheer them on!
