We have showed last season how far we can go, and we have gone to the final, to the last game that is, and with plenty of ‘if only’.
Our last season CL campaign is far from what to be mentioned as a failure.
We have a good balancing team, and now we have complete our team with youngsters-great youngsters make no mistake about it, all appeared on best of the best last season.
So I say we have a great chance.
Now let’s talk about our opponents.
1. real madrid
the star-studded team is an obvious favorite every year, though with their current unbalancing squad, we will have the laugh.
I saw their game the other night against Hongkong, but only 1st half and around 10 minutes of 2nd half. Their attack was awesome as always, with combinations from Zizou, Raul and Ronaldo-who looks fat but also fast in the same time (hate it), plus some addition from the spiceboy's crosses. It was beautiful.
But then, there's their so-called defense, defender who do much better work when attack, awful as before, and the Hongkong players manage to score 2 beautiful goals on the 1st half.
I'm so glad they didn't buy any decent defender this season... yet.
2. man utd
the only thing I agree with that milanista joke, is that manyoo is similar with Juve. Their squad strenght is based on the team spirit, just like that of ours. They rarely purchase big stars, but can build a solid team. It looks like the spiceboys departure doesn’t mean anything to them, and we-of all team-knew that very well. Then, even when RvN doesn’t play, they manage to beat an on fire Barca.
They have teamwork, and that’s what counts most.
After Veron being sold to Chelsea of course there will be a certain change in their team, and I’m not quite follow the logic of mr. Fergie here, cause veron suit well in that beckhamless team. But hey, I’m not complaining if they’re about to sell all their stars, and hopefully it will do them the harm. Really looking forward for that possibility, though I’m not counting on it.
I hate them to the bones cause they’re the only european side I do fear. Their style of play just doesn’t suit us. Or maybe its just Giggs.
3. muenchen
I rarely have the luxury to watch bundesliga (just have 1 game broadcast per week), but from what I have saw, muenchen can’t be other than another hot favorite for CL.
Moreover, I’m sure they want a payback for last season humiliation. If they’re not, then they’re insane.
Can’t wait to see makaay-elber partnership.
4. milan.
Just purchase 2 oldies to strengthen their team. Cafu, who looks enthusiastic to prove himself, and Pancaro whom I thing have pass his time. Will these two make any good contributions to this team we all love and adore? Hope not...

The squad they have in the Marco van Basten era is something to be proud of, but the current european champs is quite something else. They’re the worst champs ever based on goals scored per game statistic. They have no consistency in form, so you will never know. You might get that one which beat Depor 4-0 away, or that one which cannot even cope with the likes of Empoli.
This team is lucky, just like everything else run by the devil himself.
Still, the boost being there as the reigning champs give them extra motivation.
Plus, never forget that they’re still better than that of Brescia, Udinese and co., so we better not underestimating this team. Uuuugh, I’m so scared.
And of course there’s Inter-but I’m pretty sure they want the scudetto thousand times harder than CL, Arsenal with their new-fresh-cheap-no-ponytail-lehmann, Valencia, Deportivo who always give us hardtime, and never forget Lazio -if they manage to get there.
I don’t think Lazio have any chance of winning the trophy, but they are just another man utd to us.
Lastly, how relieved it is to know that Barca is not going to be there.
