Well, I have taught my sister to love football, and she did! :strong: Then I taught a cousin of mine who's ten years now...

Currently, I am teaching my favorite cousin since he was one year , he's four years now , to watch games with me... although some people in my family hate soccer...:devil:

The Baggio Effect - Since World Cup 94 i started tracking Baggio when he went to juve i started getting into the club and the players then came jugovic del piero vialli ravanelli even though baggion left i still tracked him but stuck with juve.. i dont kno it just happened as a kid of 7 or 8 i watched sports news and always cheered for the club wearing black and white.. i think they were newcastle... i dont kno wht it is exactly but i kno were i am at right now.. only started getting really into juve and watching almost all the matches news etc just 4 or 5 yrs ago

if he goes to an other club,i'll still love him but i am never going to change club.never.

and btw,i also know that nedved loves juve very much and he would never leave us.so this is one more reason to love him even more

my family especially my old man supports juve, so i grew up supporting them and i grew up loving them feeling every game being nervous and happy when we win. juve is my life.

I was starting to get to know soccer around in 92, didnt know much about soccer players and european football. Then one of my friend kept calling me baggio everytime I scored a goal, since then I wanted to know who this Baggio is, and from the very first time I watched him play, I was mesmorized. Although I didnt watch him play all of his games, I kept track of him through magazines.
Baggio made me look at Juventus. During the 94 WC, my heart broke watching my fav player in such agony after missing his penalty kick. Since then I followed Baggio everywhere so I was also a..........

Brescia fan
.........for short time.

I even started to follow Liverpool more than Juve back in the days of Mcmannaman and Fowler. (I started watching EPL coz my friends made bets every weekend and talke about Cantona so much that I felt left out).

But for some reason (also for the stripes and the then cool Sony sponsored shirts), my heart still remained at Juventus eventhough part of it went around following Baggio.

Till this day Juventus is in my heart, as a team, as a club, not for any one player, but for Juventus FC.

As I was a Child, Juventus was one of many favourite teams I had.
1996 I was in Bulgaria, and there is a team in the City of Plovdiv (Lokomotiv Plovdiv),which wear black and white too. I was going often with my frieds in Bulgaria (we supported all loko plovdiv) to the stadium to see the team. and the supporters of the team all liked juve and sang about juve in the stadium. In this time I liked juve even more.. specialy after winning the CL 1996, we even celebrated that with loko fans..

And then at the evening of 28.05.1997, after the unlucky CL final defeat against Dortmund, I knew it, I was in love with juve. It was the sadest and the happiest day of my life, I was sad, and could not sleep because of the defeat, and happy because I knew that I am Juve fan..

hey just wanna share my story....

its started when i was 10 probably, around 1994-96 and for two consecutive weeks, i watched juventus matches on tv.

the first is against parma, we came back from 0-1 and won the game 3-1.
second match is against roma, juve thrashed them 3-0

and since that day, i fell in love with juve.... and my first fave player is A Del Piero, but then because my best friend supports him also, then i changed to Ravanelli..... and then back to A Del Piero after ravanelli moved..

At first I supported Juventus because my friends and my favourite cousin did too and because a girl I hated supported Inter :groan:
My family didn't follow football though and so I only knew some of the players and knew when Juve won something.
I started to really become a fan the day of the 26th Scudetto. I was watching "Quelli che il calcio" on tv and I watched Simona Ventura (Bettarini's ex wife) desperately trying to hide her disappointment as Juve was winning the title It was so nice seeing her suffer, she's sooooo stupid!!!
But what really did it was Ciro scoring the goal against Deportivo in 2003. I don't remember why I was watching the game. It was destiny, I guess . Anyway, I was really impressed by Ferrara and I loved how he almost scored in the same way some minutes after having scored the 1-0. Since then Ciro became my favourite player
