No "fuel my fire" ??
"Fuel my fire" is so un-Prodigy-like, not even in the top 4 (top 4, what the hell is that anyway?) list of its own album, let alone four.

...

not really, I was trying to put across a broad spectrum of what the house genre is, and has been all about from the early 90's to the present. I don't class any of the cheesy shite as house, its pure and simple pop, or pop-trance if you want....

And I ain't done a trance list yet ;)

TC, Ursula 1000, Nicola Conte, The Karminsky Experience and others all fall under the ESL. Of course TC remain the most influencial, others have slightly different tunes sometimes, for example Nicola Conte uses Jazz often.

A few days back Greg pointed out for me Kruder & Dorfmeister as being similar to TC, and he was right, they are really amazing.

yeah I have their DJ-Kicks compilation. Really good stuff. I remember reading an interview where Hernan Cattaneo expressed his fetish for Kruder and Dorfmeister. Though I do consider their mixes a little more drumn'bassy then general Thievery stuff.

This is because K&D are consistent in their mixes while TC use various kinds of music, oriental, reggae, drum 'n bass, etc.
