Where did Ronaldo himself say anything about the Premiership though? That was just the columnist's input. In fact his main example was Ronaldinho. Anyway, this isn't even a point of personal argument... the fact remains that Cristy has no right to go around acting as if he's the only player with flair, even in the Premiership.

He doesnt, I've read what he said, basically he said he was "unhappy" that people were copying his tricks, "like Ronaldinho, I would never consider copying anything he does", "I consider football as art, and footballers as artists"...sounds like something Cantona would say

Cantona is something else,he's a great player that has achieved alot in his career.the same cant be said about the overrated too much tricks no substance arrogant and overrated Ronaldo.

I find it really funny how you can say things like that yet you have Reyes in your sig, a player who has achieved less then Ronaldo and is more overrated and soon to be a Madrid on a bosman...

It depends, Cristiano is an entertainer and I like that kind of player, its why I like attacking teams, football is meant to be exciting and fun, its why I hate teams like Chelsea cause they only care about winning. So to me I personally like Ronaldo more and when he is on his game and I guess being more "ruthless" then he is better in my opinion, but Rooney is fantastic like Ronaldo he "makes" goals as much as scores them, with more emthasis on scoring. So I'd say they are very close in ability-wise, but I believe both have the potential to be among the true greats, I personally believe that Ronaldo is going to eclipse Figo and even teh great Eusebio to become Portugal's greatest ever player.
