I'd have to say the best rap comes from Kanye West and D12 respectively now. An honorable mention goes out to Chingy and Houston, Juvenile, Banks, and maybe even Terror Squad, eventhough their name is

I disagree. I would have added Dr. Dre there.
Without him, rap would never be the same.

Agree with Art. And without Dr Dre, Eminem wouldn't have the one he is today.

    Anyone heard Lil' Flip?

"x", it's exquisite, I can listen to it times and times again. My number 2 is "Paparazzi", #3 - "Symphony in X major"

Oh, I forgot about DMX, he's great too.

Forget this Lil Jon, Nelly, Lloyd, Luda, 50 Bullshit. That's not rap, it's commercial publicity.
 You add like a 100 other so called rap artists of today. Tell me where is the art in the Bs music they put out.

The 3 you mentioned are top. ATCQ the greatest hip hop group of all time. Eric B and Rakim, classic. Mos Def, Fu Schnikens(original old school group, not around anymore). Blackmoon, Mobb Deep who had two classic LPs, the infamous and hell on earth but then they started making music for the masses.

I understand you like him too, that's good. :thumb:

    Onyx, "Slam harder".

Eminem (my mum's favourite artist) - "Guilty conscience" and "Hellbound"

DMX - "We're right here", "Party up (up in here), "Get it on the floor"
