Onyx, "Slam harder
Nice tune but the one that came before Slam that is my joint. Its like a Heavy metal song but for rap.

Whenever It gets played the place just goes crazy and raw. I love that track. Nas got yourself a gun a good song. His best stuff is from his first LP Illmatic.

Rap is shit now. The past was the greatest where the Neptunes were fairly unknown and they were producing hardcore riddims such as Superthug and Across the border and shit like that.

enough with the lil's and the pimps and the biatches.

rap/hip hop is going in the wrong direction.

too bad that we are not gonna see any more 2 Pacs and Dres.
I see you and K10 haven't heard any of Kanye West's music. That stuff is pure class. Tracks like "Jesus Walks" and "Through the Wire" makes that clearly evident.

Agreed. It's either too commercial or too 'hardcore' that's it's not cool anymore.

Everyone should make the mature step towards electronic music
Nah thats alright, nobody wants to hear that Moby or Fatboy Slim garbage anymore. The only good techno groups were Prodigy and Chemical Brothers. And that stuff is history.

Kanye is class. I was very pleased with his debut album, especially when he has been there all the time, but only now managed to release an album!

I know that many consider 2pac as a "rap-god". He have released some big hits, but i consider him a overrated. For me the real "rap-king" is Dr. Dre, he is a truly amazing artist.

Let the flaming begin :)

Im sick of all that religious propaganda, he doesnt mean anything bad with the song.

I mean whats so bad by making a song called "jesus walks"

And even worse, when someone reads the bible its okay, but when someone makes a movie about the bible its propaganda!

Hehe. Well Dr Dre is indeed "a rap king", but I can't agree with you that 2 Pac is overrated.

more poeple should listen to "the streets" i agree that they are not for everybody but once you understand their lyrics they become amazing.

a little not to Arif. the name of the thread is not right since Rap is the music and Hip Hop is the culture. ;) or is it the other way around. :D
