Pirlo was not as young as Henry. He did not need to be followed and nurtured. He just changed his position, he just saw something in him that the others didn't see. Henry is totally different.

Lippi give young players more chance... that is what i like about him... he always give olivera chances but not under capello... capello only wants quality but very quality young player... anyway.. look at it this way... Henry is 28 and soon he will be 29 and in few years he will not be as good anymore coz of age... we'd rather get cassano who is still young... If i am to choose either henry or cassano, I think i will take cassano because we don't have to splash cash on striker anymore for a long time since we have zlatan, mutu and cassano who are young...and we can splash money on our aging defence instead...

Henry wouldnt be the player he is today if we never got rid of him. I agree we should have given him time because he was young when we had him. We should have been a little more patient. Its only looking bad for us purely cos hes turned out to be one of the best in the world. You can never tell whats going to happen. Henry came as left winger?? no no, he was a striker and he came as a striker to juve. it was the season where DP was injuired and we bought Henry and Esnaider as replacement. It was Ancillotti´s fantastic idea to make him on the left side in a 3-5-2 formation. this means he was suppose even to defend

True...Also its hard to forcast a players future abilities in whatever environment because there are just to many factors that decide their futures ...either they turn out great or rubbish its sometimes hard to tell

Of course not. Henry however is not exclusively a finisher like Trezeguet is. He loves to drop deep in midfield and the left is indeed his preferred flank. For France over the years he has played left winger numerous times, and his qualities of pace, dribbling and crossing do make him a good left winger as he has proven, although it remains undisputed that he is at his best in the forward position.

He has been such a phenomenon in the EPL that IMO I can safely say that he would perform well even if played on the left wing, which is where he was played in Juve and failed.
