he was inconsistent at 28....hes now 31...i see all the league matches

Pardon???? I've been watching all the games aswell. you can bring them up here. Yes he's 31 yet nobody from our Forwards are doing inconsistent maybe except David. But Del Piero never disappointed me so far this season.

He can be 50 I don't really care as long as he's doing his job.

Points to be mentioned, if Trezeguet really did talk to the press I am sure it was something like "Tonight's match was different, Del Piero and I did not connect with each other as well as Ibra and I connected in Saturday's match". And the press made a field day about it.

I won't mention history od DP and Trez cause obviously many members here like to "live the moment". During the Brugge match, Trezeguet was not moving correctly. He was not openning space for DP or the rest of the team to pass him balls. Lets say Del Piero was "selfish" during the match, why didn't the rest of the players pass ball to trezeguet? Answer is simple, if you watch the game again Trezeguet was out of position. Even during the goal, Del Piero was in a better position than David, hence Nedved's pass went to Ale.
Del Piero did not play a great match, but he was better than David because he was moving alot and really gave Brugge's deffence a headache.
If trezeguet did really say those words, I am disappointed. Its not right to blame another player for your own performance.
Del Piero was looking for the 179th goal, and he did score it. Even Capello who is usually calm was very pleased with the goal.
