For some reason my Windows Media Player is unable to play live streams anymore, and when I try the device just says "Check Proxy Settings" or "Invalid Argument," whatever the hell that is. I have not been able to use links for months now and there is obviously a problem. Any of you computer wizards know what to do?

errr.. You tried an alternative? Like media player Classic? (that works with WMP streams, right?)

Erm, what version of WMP are you using? If 10, go to tools then options then connections. See check for proxy settings and clear what you see there, if it still doesn't work, then check your proxy settings under IE and make your WMP proxy settings the same.
