Samsung models are good quality, but considerably more expensive than LG TV's. I got a 42LG60 (42 inch LG) for AUD $1800 (about $1200) and it works great.

well, i couldnt get the 1440x900 resolution for my monitor on Vista only! i was sure it's a driver issue, and these support techs here were fuckin' clueless! they send service personnel home, who knew shit!!! and they're refusing to give refunds! hell, i dont think they even have supervisors here! they're ALWAYS unavailable! im gonna give them one last call soon, and if it doesnt help, then im taking their ass to the Consumer Courts!

I got a Viera 42" yesterday, the picture is the cleanest I've ever seen but it is not good for TV consoles and that's only because it's a plasma panel which is better for movies and sports. When it comes to connecting your PC or a TV game then an LCD panel is better.
