Oh. Wait. I've heard of that. Bi kheyr. Does it mean "good"? Ah, I cant recall.

Im doing great Majed. As you can see, very excited about Ramadhan :)

Im having difficulties to go for Tarawikh as an examination equivalent to UK's O-Levels is just a month away. However I hope to do it on weekends

Right now I'm bit thirsty cause I've been on training today and I used to drink at least 4 - 5 l water daily.

Hi all, having my sahur now. Drank a glass of hot milo - which I think is equivalent to something like hot chocolate drink - one glass of plain water and half a bread. Everyone in the family eats dates, but Im not really fond of em

Isn't this the one where you stop eating? How is that happy?
Yea, this is that month. No eating from sunrise to sunset. It's fun because it brings everyone together, so there is a sense of unity among the people; it "cleans" you up; you'll eat food in this month you'll probably never do otherwise; also, it leads up to Eid, which is the big muslim holiday, which is kinda like christmas for us. The whole family gets together; gifts, etc. This month is also of religious importance ;)

    ps: welcome back :D

Yeah I know about Eid - we call it "Suikerfeest" in Holland. But I never get the fasting. I don't function very well without food; if anything - I'll push people and god away because I get cranky :D

Such influence you've had? No, sorry, we did that all ourselves: when we came up with our 'Freedom of religion', all holy books etc were translated into Dutch because freedom of religion can only work if everyone can have the same open access to official religions. :)
