Happy Birthday Jesus!!
Anyone find it odd that the Christian calendar celebrates Mary's conception on December 8 and Christ's birth on the 25th? I mean, what's up with THAT? Immaculate conception = a 17-day pregnancy? How many women are going to wanna sign up for that kind of duty?

Anyways, HB, Mr. C... even if I'm a day late. Hope the rest of Malta parties in your honor.

Or maybe it was a 382 day pregnancy, which wouldn't be much fun either.

And I hope you aren't poking holes in the one Christian celebration that most non-religious people choose to take part in. Amazing how a few days off work and some presents make a convincing case.

Are you kidding me? Who doesn't like the great, multi-layered irony between a kid saying "Happy Birthday, Jesus -- where's my Xbox?", the winter solstice, a history of pagan sun worship, and the precession of the equinoxes?
