The month of July begins with the birthday of a Bianconeri legend. This legend, however, is particularly special, the veteran of the 50 stars – Lucidio Sentimenti IV, who today turns 92.
Setimenti is still remembered to this day as one of the few goalkeepers capable of finding the target. His cool penalty taking ability saw him step up to net five goals in 188 appearances for Juventus.
The Bomporto-born shot stopper also holds the record of the oldest living Italian footballer to play in a World Cup, after travelling with the Azzurri squad to Brazil in 1950.
