In my english class today (after lunch) about 70% of the kids were stoned, so the teacher just gave up and we elected to play heads up 7 up for the rest of the period :lol2:

I still don't understand, why did they choose april 20th as the day? is there any significance?
420 or 4:20 is the time for the first joint in a regular day. So if you look at 420 it can also be read 4/20 which is April the 20th. It has nothing to do with Adolf Hitler that's for sure.

I don't know why in Chile (or in the south of Mexico for sebi-seb) we don't have that kind of days. I'll celebrate it anyway.

I told you this before, Besmir -- despite all those women-in-prison movies, you're not going to meet any hot chicks listening to the police scanner.

You've got it backwards, bro. Smoking at 4:20 am and pm grew out of the date 4/20. 4/20 has had some serious bad things happen on it, as a date, ie Hitler's birth, and a bunch of other shit. Consquently, what better day than 4/20 for everyone to be stoned, peaceful, and chillin'?

My sources say otherwise, and personally I have never lit up a joint for any political reason.

Interstate 420 (abbreviated I-420) was a highway planned to split off of Interstate 20 at Douglasville, Georgia on the west side of metro Atlanta, then continue eastward to the south of downtown Atlanta, merging at a highway interchange with proposed Interstate 475 and traveling northeastward with it back to I-20. The only portion of it actually built was Georgia State Route 166, known as Lakewood Freeway and now Langford Parkway. The portion west of I-285 on the west side, and east of I-75 were never built, due to the public opposition which saved those communities in its path. The I-475 it was to connect to was never built either, for the same reason.

Due to the slang meaning of the number 420, it is unlikely that number will be used for a real highway, particularly since "Interstate 420" shields have shown up on t-shirts.

Interstate 420 (abbreviated I-420) was to be a bypass of Monroe, Louisiana. Due to the slang meaning of the number 420, it is unlikely that number will be used for a real highway, particularly since "Interstate 420" shields have shown up on t-shirts.
