Bush at the minimum deserves a few shoes in his face after murdering thousands of people and driving our national debt to proportions that may have caused the demise of the entire nation.
Oh yeah definitely. Heck if he had some mysterious crash and disappeared off the face of the earth I don't think anyone would mind that either.

But if an Iraqi or non-American were to assassinate the dude that's the only excuse Cheney and Co. would need to brandish some good old fashioned death and destruction.

I still hope that somehow truth is exposed and they are sent to the Hague.

And if worse comes to worst, then once we are in the midst of a civil war during the breakup of the States, we can hunt down those who destroyed the nation and pull a Mossad a la in the film Munich.

In the next 10 years a lot of guys will probably end up being tried for war crimes. But I doubt many of them will be Americans, except maybe a couple lambs for the sacrifice.

What flies is the illusion of due diligence. Give them something meaningful, and they'll back off. Just like the fall guy in the Valerie Plane case.

Probably Rumsfeld is the highest we could get.

Father offers daughter to shoe-thrower
December 17, 2008

CAIRO (Reuters) - An Egyptian man said on Wednesday he was offering his 20-year-old daughter in marriage to Iraqi journalist Muntazer al-Zaidi, who threw his shoes at U.S. President George W. Bush in Baghdad on Sunday,

The daughter, Amal Saad Gumaa, said she agreed with the idea. "This is something that would honor me. I would like to live in Iraq, especially if I were attached to this hero," she told Reuters by telephone.

Her father, Saad Gumaa, said he had called Dergham, Zaidi's brother, to tell him of the offer. "I find nothing more valuable than my daughter to offer to him, and I am prepared to provide her with everything needed for marriage," he added.

Zaidi's gesture has struck a chord across the Arab world, where President Bush is widely despised for invading Iraq in 2003 and for his support for Israel.

Amal is a student in the media faculty at Minya University in central Egypt.

Zaidi's response to the proposal was not immediately clear.
