X is right....i have been working out for 7,8 minths straight and i started working out my legs two weeks ago. I had to first develop my upper body, which is more important. Now, after reaching a certain level i started with my legs and im gonna work out legs reguparly.

And just for the record, in alp these months since i started working out i onpy took 250 grams of creatin which is not much. So i have to be doing something right since i kanaged to shape my body completely chemistry free. I am satisfied of myself and im gonna keep doing what i do. I know i have more to do, more details to pay attention to but all in its time. Its not easy and it takes time as most of you know.

Gave the squats a go today, just to see where I could start off, did 3 reps x8 at 60kg, not bad seeing as how I'm only back in the gym two weeks, though I get the feeling it's gonna take it's tole on my legs in the morning :D

eat well, maybe throw in 2 bananas, i always get sick when i dont eat well after leg workout
:agree: I eat plenty of salad, fruit and veg, but I'm primarily focusing on my protein game at the moment. I ate enough steak today to feed three people, no exaggeration!

I know man, we call them disco builders here because their purpose is to look good in a night club only.

we call em beachboys

training mostly biceps and chest with long sets, and oral steroids to swell like a whale for the beach.

They also do bicep curl IN THE FUCKING SQUATRACK. So i hate them.

Twats! :(

There was this one poser who used to go to my gym and bring his mate just for encouragement! The friend would just sit down on one of the weight benches (which are always limited in most gyms), that always grinded my gears.

My aim is to bulk up, not to look good, but to gain strength ultimately.

lol what's wrong with wanting to look good? :p I'm not really passionate about gym (not in the way I'm about footie or running), but having a decent, athletic body is a good enough motivation for me to hit it 3 times a week currently, not really that interested if I reach my goal with x or x+10 kg's.

Who said that there is something wrong in wanting to look good?

These guys don't look good with their chicken legs.

All creatine does is

- maximising the size of creatine deposits in the muscle, wich is maximal if you eat red meat , or allmost maximal if you eat other meat regularly.

- beeing waterretaining, so more water in the muscles, wich has as only effect that nutrients are shuttled around more efficiently.

Thats about it.

That shutteling is important for recovery tho, so creatine is good to take for and after training. but take monohydrate wich costs next to nothing. not that expensive crap that does exactly the same.

Dont believe magazines, they are sponsered by manufactors who are marketting creatine as if it was legal dianabol. and MANY people believe it.

i suppose i could have said

steroids make muscles grow

hgh makes the skelet grow so it can contain more muscle, and lower fat% because of that
I had a friend whose cancer excelled because of HGH and passed away last year. Guy was a beast with a back that looked like an F1 jet. Great guy.

Weighed in at 223lbs BUT my waist is down to 37 1/2 from 38 1/4 so I'm not that upset from not making my weight goal this month. Gonna re-start diet in March. I'm not gonna eat dirty just allow some room for grains. My goal for may is 200lbs.

Is counting calories and trying to get about 1000 in you every day while working out the easiest way to lose about 7kg for the summer?

You need to calculate your daily calorie needs based on your height, weight, and how much you work out. Then decide how much you need to eat per day. X posted a pretty solid, and free, calorie/workout calculator which also has a phone app.

It's hard to know how much calories you need and nobody can tell you that. None of those calculators include regular daily activities like walking and doing stuff, it's not 24/7 sitting in the chair.
