Its widely established that Cardio burns muscle, wich is why olympic and powerlifters, who arent endurance athletes, will do their cardio'esque work, with weights.
As in high intensity squat work (regardless of high/low bar). As in 5-6 sets at 70%+ with 90-120sec intervals at most. Because cardio is just bad for muscles.
However, here is the deal.
Are you a bodybuilder who wants to drop below 10% ? You'll do cardio each day, cause squatting to muchs fucks up your definition. if you dont want to lose muscle, use clenbuterol or an androgenic anabolic to protect them.
Are you a fitness athlete or a body and fit guyse ? You'll do cardio each day, and then some more, and also cardio, coupled with cardio and more cardio. Cause your physique isnt big enough to have actual issues with the point off loss versus gain.
If you are anyone else, you'll do cardio 2-4 times per week, cause you arent even close to the proper diet and sleep, you wont lose muscle whatsoever, but you'll turn into an ugly fatty if you dont do the cardio, and nobody likes the ugly fatty.
So as you can see, very few excuses not to do cardio

The big mistake people tend to make, is that the point where cardio is harmfull to muscular development, is much further then everyone thinks
Cause allmost nobody actually has muscle. I was actually doing quite a bit of cardio to get to the gym back in the day, and i kept steadely progressing towards a 190kg deadlift, 140kg squat and 100kg benchpress. (3 years ago)
Unless you are doing more then that, go do your fucking cardio you pussys
