Knowing Spanish will help him a lot at Juventus, the language is very similar. I was worried Guus only spoke Russian & Dutch lol, I was wondering how he would communicate with the rest of the team. I thought he would have to learn Italian from scratch. Good to hear he knows Spanish.

I'd like to think that they already have a deal with Guus, who is not able to make it to Italy and dive right into action for tomorrow's match. Consequently they shall express faith in Ciro so as not to unsettle the team further with speculations. This will hopefully keep us in the Cup. It will then be Guus on the bench come Sunday, the beginning of the second round of the season. Wishful thinking? Maybe...

That basically says what we've been reading about since yesterday. That this website 'Sports Life' reports that he's been allowed to coach a club next to his Russian NT duties.

They're simply guessing this means he'll join us, because of our situation and links in the media.

It's nothing concrete.
Thought so.

They're having a press conference?
Yeah but it's a match conference. Still, Ferrara is going to speak, who knows.

What can he say...I'm not leaving this boat, injuries are killing us, we want to win tomorrow...I expect to see more.

This press conference will be a load of bollocks, imo. Nothing will come from it. Lots of managerial question dodging.

That sounds very plausible, and hopefully true.

Never the less you seem to be the one who is most excited about the upcoming conference.

I don't know any Italian but are Blanc, Bettega and Secco going to be in that press conference?

I don't want to trash any hopes, but there is always a press conference the day before the game.
That's where the coach (among other things) gives the list of selected players for the game.
