If and a big if, we did end up getting Hiddink, it will certainly be interesting how much of the club handling affairs (transfers) he will be given. I dont think he will be used to the italian way of things as and I think he will either strugle or make a point to the management. It may just be a deja vu deschamps scenario. Foreign coaches will only do well if you give them that extra shoulder to lean on and im sure Guus will be more than well aware of this.
I have no idea how astute Guus can be in the transfer market. That isn't why I want him at the club. He has impressed me most when given a team, and making that same team, with no transfers, improve dramatically...South Korea, Australia, Chelsea...he didn't sign players to improve these teams, he made the players there already perform better as a cohesive unit, believe in themselves and each other...THAT is precisely WHy i want him, because its exactly what we need.
Truly one of the worst things about Ciro is that he is ruining our players through stunting the development of our youngsters (not playing giovinco, forcing marchisio to become a winger) and also through his own tactical and man management failings grinding the team into its worst run of form for many years. he has engineered several of the most humiliating results I have ever witnessed for a Juve side, especially at home...and if I will take a while to forget such horror, the players will feel much worse. he is hopeless and has made his team hopeless.
but my main point is that Hiddink is a brilliant tactician and man manager. He makes team play with spirit, heart, determination and belief...EVERYTHING WE LACK.
