Kenj, a friend of mine just texted me a piece from a newspaper from russia saying guus signed a 3year deal and 10mill per season, he is sleeping now but it was translated in Dutch, and that they will release an official statement this week, let me search for the newspapers name!

If and a big if, we did end up getting Hiddink, it will certainly be interesting how much of the club handling affairs (transfers) he will be given. I dont think he will be used to the italian way of things as and I think he will either strugle or make a point to the management. It may just be a deja vu deschamps scenario. Foreign coaches will only do well if you give them that extra shoulder to lean on and im sure Guus will be more than well aware of this.
I have no idea how astute Guus can be in the transfer market. That isn't why I want him at the club. He has impressed me most when given a team, and making that same team, with no transfers, improve dramatically...South Korea, Australia, Chelsea...he didn't sign players to improve these teams, he made the players there already perform better as a cohesive unit, believe in themselves and each other...THAT is precisely WHy i want him, because its exactly what we need.

Truly one of the worst things about Ciro is that he is ruining our players through stunting the development of our youngsters (not playing giovinco, forcing marchisio to become a winger) and also through his own tactical and man management failings grinding the team into its worst run of form for many years. he has engineered several of the most humiliating results I have ever witnessed for a Juve side, especially at home...and if I will take a while to forget such horror, the players will feel much worse. he is hopeless and has made his team hopeless.

but my main point is that Hiddink is a brilliant tactician and man manager. He makes team play with spirit, heart, determination and belief...EVERYTHING WE LACK.

Definitely true Mr Poet.

That's why we need Hiddink, because it's so painfully obvious our confidence and tactical awareness are at rock bottom. We have a pretty decent squad, but I guess it's not so easy to make them perform to their maximum potential. Let's hope Hiddink arrives and achieves this.

I just hope he has an eye for youth aswell.

After seeing what Giovinco did to his Chelsea last year, lets hope he plays him.

I hope he doesn't stop at Giovinco either. I know youth isn't always the answer and that not all of our 'kids' from the primavera are the answer to our problems, but I'd just love to see someone like Rossi given a go.

Especially in our current situation. We're playing people like Sali in our midfield, or as wingers even :sergio:

That's crazy :D

They all adore him over there looking at comments on various videos.
the chelsea crowd really respect him, so do the Australians and Koreans. if u look carefully he is very close to his players sth we are missing to be honest.

i hope this goes our way and we all wake up to some great news hopefully. :xfinger:

but honestly another factor is the wages ciro gets ... how can he as n00b coach demand character if the players do get paid more then 5 times the amount ... the wage you get is also a watermark how he is valued by the club...
