We WILL fire Ciro, that is damn sure, its easy to know that by now (you dont know gurus to know things are inevitable now). No coming game will have any bearing on that. The complicated matter is the salary negotiation with Hiddink, and getting him, if we can, wont happen in a day and there is no need for them to do it before Coppa game. As the agent said, can talk end of the week based on how things go.

There is no reason as to not bring him in yet. They are scared of sacking Ferrara, that's all about it.

Even with Bettega's balls they are scared of sacking Ferrara.

If they do sack Ciro, don't they have to pay him some sort of compensation? That's the only reason i can think of why they would keep him.Taking the cheapskate route isn't exactly something new for this BOD.
Exactly, and someone still has to be the caretaker till Hiddink arrives. And then they have to sack that caretaker, so double compensation money. Besides, the caretaker will obviously be Ciros assistant coach, so whats the point really.

We risk getting dumped out of Coppa, but at least things remain the same in league.

Yes its defenitely a money issue, if they could afford Hidddinks big Russia salary, they would pounched on it by now. They are prolly negotiation it down to a manageable level, not too low so we will miss this opportunity.

They are hardly scared, but they are considerate or gentle in this sitaution because its not any coach, but a big Juve legend, they will part ways as coach and club, but they prefer to do it in a way that prolly still mainstains their good will with Ciro and have him still connected with the club.

was anybody really expecting anything today? Hiddink's agent said he'll talk at the end of the week. I think some patience is due here, these things take time. I find it particularly interesting that at the end of the week the second half of the season begins...
I was expecting news today, but it didn't happen. I find it encouraging that his agent didn't say anything just yet. I try to look at it objectively

- Guus came back from his vacation yesterday, there was simply no time for him to come and lead us in Coppa while his agent didn't leave any comment
- He got his permission to take a club, reducing his wages for 2mln euros, now why would he do that if there wasn't some kind of pre-agreement
- Ciro said he'd accept the sack from our board
- We didn't deny anything, in fact, some already say details are arranged

I still think, or want to believe, that it takes some time to make this happen. I think he was asked to lead us until things get finalized. Even now there were some sources that said that there was an agreement between us and Guus, we just have to wait. Some say Thursday, some say after Chievo match.

The only person who makes me think that is Bettega, if there's somebody who can change the course of this ship, it's him. If we don't sign Guus, or simply stick to Ciro I'll be hugely disappointed because that way we'll not just destroy this season, but many other things. This Juve fails to impress from every aspect of the game. We need a change and it has to be Guus, it has to be soon.

Indeed, they arent scared, they just want to end it in delicate way. Lets remember that Ranieri was the first coach in many many years who was sacked. The previous coaches just resigned or either left when contract expired in juve.

The fact that Ciro was a legend as a player also adds in here.

Well it's not only the money issue that made me skeptical about Ciro being sacked.I mean if they really wanted Guus, why would they make loan deals without confirming with the new coach?Surely they would do that instead of decreasing squad depth & risk having the coach ask for new reinforcements.

Because some of the players who got loaned have flopped totally, and they want to cut costs.

Agreed Dusan, everything points to Ciro is pretty much fired, pretty damn obvious, and that we are pretty much on Guus to be hired, the question is about time and wether we can finalize his salary. Which I hope we do.

In conclusion, Ciro is pretty surely fired, he is just in charge while they sort new coach. Guus isnt as sure, but he is quite close judging on everything.

Also, our transfer rumors are stalled. Maybe we just wait for a coach to come.

It might be a money issue but yet again I doubt we'd have many problems with it. We wouldn't make such a fuss about it. They know who Hiddink is, they know he's demanding. They'd deny this rumor 5 times already but they don't.

So, they are willing to end up losing the league, CL and Coppa Italia in just 6 months? They should have brought in Guus now to this Coppa Italia game so he coukl at least try to save that.

They won't fire him anyway though. He has lost so many games and they still haven't fire him, what if he gets two wins or a win and a draw? Would everything be good again?
