Wouldn't you get guy bored in a Satriani/Gilbert/Malmsteen/insert shredder/Vai gig? Its cool to listen to for a couple of mins, and i will never deny the technical ability of them, but a 90 min concert? Meh.

The last time I was at a solo guitarists' gig was 7 years ago(Satriani) and I remember loving every minute of it.

Fair enough man, I went to see Rodriego y Gabriella and I loved every second and they're instrumentalists. Guess you have to love the music for it to click for a gig length listening.

Absolutely. I love his music, so could listen to it for hours. As for Vai, he's supposedly brilliant in live shows. Never a dull moment. Would love to see him sometime.

I would happily chuck up a vid, i've put up recordings before. I just refuse to use youtube because you need a google acount and i don't want a google account.

I've never had the habit of tapping my foot. Sometimes I nod my head in sync with the beats, but mostly, I keep the beat running in my head.

Dunno if you have already tried it and it didn't work, but from my expirience the tapping thing really was helpful, I was the same, with the beat in my head, but doing it physically was and is easier.

He was referring to my refusal to upload the videos from my gig back in college, not you.

Dunno if you have already tried it and it didn't work, but from my expirience the tapping thing really was helpful, I was the same, with the beat in my head, but doing it physically was and is easier.

I'll do that.

Its Irish Folk, I like that kind of music when its done well. Im more into bluesgrass when it comes to folk instruments, learning banjo at the moment too.

The guitar tech switched the 4th and 5th strings. So it was a bitch to bend the 5th string. Thankfully, he's coming home to deliver my other guitar. So I'm gonna all him to change those strings again. After that, my baby's gonna purrrrr!

Btw, have you guys named your guitars? I'm thinking of naming mine, but not sure what to choose.
