Well honestly I have seen him only a couple of times, and he seemed pretty slow to me. Overall he had good vision and passing skills. Zach had a good point that his speed wouldn't be of a too big concern considering we don't play that counter attacking style like Dortmund for example. We had lot of possession and he could open up that thight defence with a good pass. I don't know allegris plans for next season though. If he plans to play a counter attacking style or fast pace, he will pretty much fail. But if we keep our game plan I don't see too much trouble. Especially we would trade a slow deep laying playmaker with one higher up the pitch and minimize the risk for our defence

Honestly if we are looking for a backup for Evra (who can't really be a force at attack), just use Padoin. I don't expect to see much difference from Padoin and Siqueira tbh. Defensively solid, offensively just try not to fuck it up.

I'm not really against this signing, but not favourable also. Won't change much, except for 10M less to spend next mercato.

Honestly €9m is nothing these days.He's a better and a more accomplished fullback than Romulo and costing €2m more only.
Not to mention we're getting him on a loan initially.

I don't know how are we expecting a better time to pick LB squad-wise? We have one old-timer with just enough left in the tank so that a new addition have the time to settle in and Asamoah who fights for his life as a player atm and either way we hope to use him in midfield.

20-30m if need be for a top player, it shouldn't matter. We missed on Darmian, so we better have a good plan B. Not Galliani's 'good as we are'!!!

Not everyday that I agree with Zach, but he has it spot on IMO. Siqueira is a great back-up option for us this season. Evra only has another year left with us, so then next year we can look to sign a more expensive/attacking LB.
