It was weird in the week leading up until the Supercoppa where Allegri said Dybala is not an AM, and we need to sign one and Beppe said Dybala can play there and that we are looking for a universal midfielder, or something like that.

I too picked up on that. That was part of the lack of joined up thinking that I was referring to.

Even if Draxler is too much, I have the feeling we will end up with no one at all. It goes from an excellent start to a mercato to a very mediocre one in which I'd say as we stand we aren't as strong.

Ill be honest.. i have the feeling that whoever we bring..we will be weaker with the absence of Tevez, and that includes draxler and gotze (not coming). He was no Messi, but the guy carried us hardcore in serie A,and he seemed to always know how to play for us. He was too good and worker for Juve, so no matter who we bring, we will suffer (unless we bring someone out of the ordinary which will not happen).

i just hope allegri doesnt get mad at this and tries to get the best of what he has.
