Lilianna, I'm not saying I have something against greeks. The history is the other thing, and the now it's the other thing. It's not Greece's fault that he accepted to represent the greek flag instead of albanian. They just offered him to represent Greece, and he accepted. Leonidas Sabanis (Luan Shabani) is the one to be blamed. He was raised in Greece, but he was born in Albania and the albanian blood runs in his veins. That's the fact.

If greeks hate albanians that much, why did they offer an albanian sportsman to represent Greece?

Don't take me wrong, as I said, I have nothing personal against you or against any other greek. I'm just pissed off with this albanian, not with greeks.
ok ok i finally figured this out about leonidas sampanis(formally known as Luan Shabani) he's half albanian half greek,so we were both right. now as for why he chose to represent greece over albania who knows. his desision must of been based on whats the better country overall:D

Does Albania want any of the Greek territory?

well the present government doesnt give a crap. most of them are corrupt and have greek connections.

in 1912 when Albania was officially known as a country a European Commission was made to evaluate where the borders would be.

pretty much half of albanian territories were left outside the national borders.

you might know Kosovo which was part of Serbia

but also territories in Macedonia and Greece.

the map shows Albanian Territories and dark black is the national border.

Well, I am not Turkish, I am Azeri. But our cultures are very similar. We speak almost the same language, so we can communicate easily.

So whenever somebody is trashing the Turks- I get pissed :D

Thanks for the map, Don. Now I see where things are. And yes, I know Kosova. One of my best friends in Albanian, and went back there to work for a couple of years.

Yeah, name of the nation is Azerbaijan. Nationality - Azeri.

In 1910s Azerbaijan was split into 2. North went to Russia. South- to Iran.

There about 20,000,000 Azeris living in Northern Iran right now.
