I wouldn't consider Ronaldo as greatest player contender if Brazil has not won WC 2002. If Argentina won next WC I will change my vote to Messi though, right now he is top 5 already.

He takes the ball and dribble past everyone and made it look easy... The injury got him to perform at 5% of his potential (and he still won a golden ball afterwards...)

DP - When he was on his prime (before Zanchi ruined him) he would get my vote as top 10 of all time and this list has very serious players like Cruyff Zidane and Platini so its not easy to get into this list...
