Thing is the CLK-GTR is the best car I could get given my playing time and funds short of buying the R8 or Bentley, and that's taking HP/WT into account as well.And since this game doesn't consider adding a level 4 turbocharger turbine or racing intercooler as adding to weight, tuning it up to its maximum horsepower does indeed mean it's faster, ie. a higher HP/WT ratio.
And btw, that theoretical model you suggested is not neccessarily true, Car B might beat Car A in terms of acceleration but not in terms of top speed.In an endurance race for example.
