If we sell Trez which looks likely, one of Zebina/Grygera, one of Tiago/Poulsen then that should put us in a very good financial situation left for transfers. Lets say hypothetically Trez for 12m, Zebina/Grygera 5m, Tiago/poulsen for 9m...that's an additional 26m dollars we can spend for the defense.

If use that wisely lets way Secco pulls in motta for 7.5m, leaving 18.5-19m left for another big signing. Motta would be the answer to our RB worries, Criscito would be the answer to our LB worries and we have Canna for CB with Legro/Mellbeg as backup to him and Chiellini. Now with the additional 18.5-19m I would use it all on Hamsik and then sell the whichever CM we didnt sell of Poulsen/Tiago. THEN that brings in another 9m to use on whoever we wish.

Guberti and Pandev look enticing because they are able to cover more positions if plagued by injury again. We could really pull in a huge Mercato this summer. What the board is doing I think personally are bringing in younger and more versatile players slowly replacing the aging ones we have.

If we did all of that we would have Hamsik, Marchisio, Diego, Gio, Camo, Guberti, Sissoko plus ekdal in a few years and we could probably just sell Zanetti too. That is 8-9 mids with many being quite versatile giving us loads of options for multiple formations.

Motta(7.5-8m)-Canna(Free)-Chiellini-Criscito (?) That looks like a great back four and with the additional 9m we could deploy that on a young promising CB (Kjaer, Tasci, etc)

:tup: :tup: It would be a wonderful mercato if this all happen, but i'm not sure that Guberti and Motta will come to us. Also if Hamsik is too overpriced, we can go for Asamoah

Him and D'Agostino are insanely predictable signings for us. Both quite good players, but as I said, not really sure we should go for someone of Pandevs type (if so, better players in Lavezzi or Rossi for me).

Would be too much to hope they will suprise the heck outta me by getting Dzeko to replace Trez? :p

He is not a bad player, but he doesnt have the potential to reach the WC status as a Juve starter.
We have enough depth players. We should either start adding some quality starters.
Right now we have other priorities, i dont think that we are really interested in this poor man's Cassano rumors, our board will only consider new transfers, after they will see first, our new coaches, short list first...

Obviously not red. Point is that he wouldnt mind coming off the bench in his first season at a big club like juventus with the likes of DP amauri and IQ, he would expect it.

I don't see what you are basing this on.

I don't really know what Pandev's personality is like to be able to judge how he would react to not playing much.

Im just saying that most players especially when they are not considered "super stars" would relish an opportunity to play at a super club like ours. He wouldnt mind being a role player to amauri or dp.

I dont think he would be too upset with being a back-up for Ale or Amauri/Iaq, but he should be eager to fight for his place just like Iaquinta.

IMO Pandev is a pretty good player, on form close to world class. With him, Diego and the attackers we already have, I believe we'd be very versatile upfront.

I'd still hate to lose Trez though.

rather have lavezzi then Pandev
lavezzi is younger has more potential i think and is faster, we dont have any fast strikers.

still hate to see trez leave indeed but if we have to cash in on a striker this would be the right time. DP isnt getting any younger so Giovinco would get more playing time i hope.
