Current Club: None...Contract with Lazio rescinded.
Born : July 27, 1983 (1983-07-27) age 26 (Yugoslavia)
Height: 1.84 m (6 ft +1⁄2 in)
Weight: 75 kg
Playing position: Striker/Attacking Midfielder
Number: 19

With Pandev finally having his contract rescinded, surely we will be in the hunt for his signature. Amauri has been shocking, for a year now. Del Piero does not fit into our new formation. Trezeguet is likely to leave at the end of the season, though is having a decent enough stagione so far, even with the team struggling terribly. Which leaves only Iaquinta, who is injured, as our only quality alternative.

We should be going for Pandev. No transfer fee. He is hungry, proven in Serie A, and surely would love to play for one of the top teams in Italy...

"A number of Italy's leading clubs, including Internazionale and Juventus, are reported to be keen on signing Pandev, who is not cup-tied for European competition, next month. There has also been some speculation that he could exact revenge on his former employers by joining their city rivals Roma." Could he fit into the 3 of a 4-2-3-1????

I have only seen him when he has played against us, when he looked decent enough...so I would appreciate anyone who knows him well, to post a brief or lengthy review of his talents, and also, possibly, of how suitable he is to the New Juve...

I still do not think he's good enough.

As a squad player, yes. But if he was brought in to replace DP and eventually become a starter, you guys are up for one big disappointment.

But hey, he's free. He's worth the risk.

You give him to little credit. IMO he's got a lot more to show and what he has shown already is plenty. I don't care if and can he be DP's replacement, he can add a lot to this squad. And for free, this is a no-brainer.

I think itll be good move as he's free. If he turns out to be good he can take up Trez's place in the future, or else we can move for someone like Dzeko in the summer. worth the risk

I meant to say that he isn't good enough to be starting for this Juve team. I'm sure there are a lot of better options out there.

What has he shown really? He's a good player for a midtable club thats all he's shown as far as i'm concerned. He isn't particularly special in anything really. He's a decent link up player, decent dribbler and has got rather good technique. But not really special in anything at all. I just don't see what the fuss about him is.

But he is a freebie and therefore could be worth the risk. Just don't put any high expectations on him.

If you ask me he has been nothing short of fantastic for Lazio. Sure a midtable club nothing more, but was Amauri any different? At least to warrant such a price? Or Iaquinta?

He's got excellent technique, dribbling ability, good enough vision and the ability to score out of nowhere. Not much of a true goal scorer but he's not any worse than Amauri or Iaquinta in that department. He can play as support striker and as part of the trident, something which none of our forwards can, bar maybe Iaquinta.

Sure he's no world beater but he could be just what we need and with all the injuries we're having and DP advancing age, a little competition is just what we need.

Maybe Amauri needs a change of scenery to get back to his usual form.

But if i had a choice between the two, i'd take Amauri any day of the week. His form might not indicate it, but he's a much more useful player to have than Pandev.

What it all comes down to Fred, IMO, is the money involved. This is a win-win. Hell even if he doesn't work out we can still sell him later on for some cash. We need to sign him ASAP.

I don't think that he can solve our problems. If we could get him for free I will take him and then sell him to some other club. Why? Juve was always Italian and most of the players were Italians. If you look at club at this moment and if we will buy also Rafinha, Pandev and some other non Italian player, we will have more than 11 players out of Italy.

Than it's also that Amauri was a beast before he join Juve, and look at him now. We need to change system and not players. If we will feed Amauri and Trez with balls then they will score goals.
