Let me put it this way, Higuain is a finisher who can play as an utility forward and this is exactly what he done this season and it did help us to get the goals we needed.
While Morata is an utility forward, he is NOT a finisher!

If morata comes, it will be for him to be a winger most of the time, and a back up CF when needed. The main forward should be dybala, as he is our most capable and talent forward. Built the team around him , see how it goes. If he doesnt work, sell. The end.

Higuain Dybala cant play together without messing up our whole formation. Sell Higuain.

for the record tho, Morata > Higuain should be pretty obvious

statistics aside, we have won Scudetti with Morata & without Higuain and we havent won a CL with Higuain, so in hindsight and as many smart posters had predicted at that time his signing was a waste of funds

There are no big name LCM's on the market though. Pogba and SMS are a pipe dream at this point. Juve won't spend 100m+ on a CM.

the CL was never and will never be within reach!
We bought him for other reasons, he is the best (name wise) finisher Marotta could sign in his carrier, the best we had after Trezequet and out loud and clear message to all, that we are not insignificant!
Such transfers make other teams take us serious, esp Roma and Napoli , they have yet to recover from it...

You're right, I think it's pretty much Messi & friends where he chooses who plays where. It's a pitty considering how many talents / WC players are in Argentina. I watched 2-3 qualifier games in the last year and they play so bad, so slow, no passion, no direction, no nothing. I think and hope Iceland will score today.

I rememeber when Maradona never took Zanetti or Cambisaso and never played Milito in the WC the same summer in which Inter won a treble with those players who were immense for them. He took players we nevee knew or have heard of since. They were terrible. Massive under achievers.
