id rather sell, 55M and id accept without thinking twice. build the team around Dybala, him C-Dogg and Morata/Martial in a trident, behind a functional midfield. i realize it probably wont happen tho
Building a team with Morata lol. I love the kid, but he's an impact sub at best. He just doesn't have what it takes to make that leap forward to be a regular starting 11 player.

Part of the reason Morata might work with DYbala, is because Morata is capable of playing off another striker. He's probably a better assister and chance creator than he is a finisher. He was fantastic in the last few months here playing off Mandzukic, especially when Dybala was out injured for 6ish weeks that winter.

I don't think you build a team around Morata, but he could play LWF with Dybala in the centre and Costa/Bernadeschi on the right. It would be a pretty quick and technical front 3.

To be fair Higuain did score a lot of clutch goal this season.. kinda like trezeguet, scores from nowhere.

Exactly. He also gives you a lot of tactical flexibility, you're one sub away from a 442/4231 or a 352 for example. And he's actually a threat in the air and on through balls on the counter, so gives us what we lack in Higgy

Morata is horribly inconsistent. One good season in the CL doesn’t make up for all his Torres level misses.

You mean always good in CL right? Because he was good in CL for us both years. And good in CL for Madrid whenever he played there.

He suits the open style of play in Europe. It works for him, especially when his team plays on the counter.

When he missed that open goal after rounding Handanovic, I was just thinking about all the memes with him missing all the crucial goals in his career. Thankfully, he got to the end of that cross at the end.

He has however lost the ability to dribble. More and more of his goals are coming from set plays rather than open play (those 2 goals against Spurs in 1st leg, this one against Inter). We need to have a striker who can get behind defenses/dribble around them) if we are going to make a serious push for CL.

We have but for some reason we don't use him that way.

I'd rather have Martial playing there :D
