Well maybe he was faster indeed, but not by much. He was never known for his speed tbh. Not that worried about the first touch also, you can't just lose baring the injury.
All I am saying it was not clearly his best game. He should've scored, but sometimes it just doesn't go there. Apart from that he ran a lot and helped his friends.
That was the first 30 min then he got tired like everyone else and he brought nothing to the game

Thats the beautiful of this new tactics, once we decreased our stamina we don't have anything else to bring to the table more than some individual magical play and the only ones who can do that consistently are Pjanic and AS so almost nothing... last year we had Dybala-Alves-Pjanic-AS to bring that high step any top team requires

I was a supporter last year. He was far more clinical. Way better build up. His decline is noticeable. If he is not converting chances at a higher rate than other strikers then he loses his value. Simple as that.
Good thing we're lucky to be stuck with him until 2021!!!!! He'll be leading our line when he's 33 bc he's the only striker we can have on our squad due to his fuckin moronic price

Just like Dybala, Higuain should get benched too a game or two. Play Costa and Bernardeschi/Cuadrado on the wings and Mandzo as a ST
That's how it should be in every CL game, but we all know that won't happen

Gets on my nerves how he gets out of shape every 3 months.

After Allegri is satisfied with Dybala's fitness & improvement, should give Higuaín the same treatment and bench him till he gets in shape. Play Dybala as F9.

Dude its obvious management wants him to be big for strength or else he wouldnt be this big all the time for 18 months. I dont agree with it as his Napoli shape is perfect but that is the case.

of course but there has to be a reason why our management seems to be completely fine with his shape.
So far Allegri has been fine with it because he's the only WC CF in the team (Mandzukic is WC as LW and needed there).

If Dybala pans out as F9, I expect Higuaín to get the same bench treatment till he's in shape.

No need to cajole him, he gets paid millions, and staying in shape is a big part of his job.

Woah, im just know rewatching the 2014 wc final... higuain was slim as $#@!
Does anyone actually know wtf happened to him? its like he went for a holiday where he lived on fast food , took drugs and got pissed every day and never recovered. Not normal for a professional athlete.

The only one i can recall with a slight similar weight gain is R9 after his injury.
