5mins into the match you could see he was pumped up and his concentration level was high when he got mad with his teammates that he was alone on the counterattack. When he's switched on like that, he beasts all game.

I loved his movement here, he was playing with the rest of the team, not just waiting for a pass his way.

Great performance not just goals. Just wish he had nights like that in CL also.
This.

In form he is probably if not the best, among the top 3 strikers in the world. Only problem is his mentality. He is his own worst enemy.

To be focused mentally when it really matters is what he has lacked in the past. So far, thats the only thing what has kept him from being a truly legendary player.

The abilities and hunger are clearly there.

I give him a lot of stick, because i expect more from him sometimes. Not because i think he is bad. The same goes for him when he is playing for my national team.

He is an absolute beast when he wants to be and I really hope he can go on to have a fantastic season now. He deserves it.

Great game for him , his best game for a long time , 2 great finishes , but he also did a great job keeping the ball near Milan box and he also had few high quality passes like the one for mandzu where he left him 1 v 1 with keeper or the one for cuadrado , he turned into pjanic for few moments :) , we can't expect him to play like this every game , we know it's impossible, not even Paulo can't keep the level high for every match , but gonzalo always looks like he can do much more than he actually does , he had a very poor period on this season , but he looks like he is regaining his form .

You don't need to encourage him. Also, you shouldn't lest he get banned. :numnum:

Exemplary striker's instincts by Higgy in this game tho. Props to him; let's hope he remains in this rich vein of form. :baus:
Zach can express his opinions like anyone else. Long as he tempers the personal insults he wont, or at least shouldn't, have to worry about any bans

Allegri’s interviews are always telling and with Higuain he has always mentioned Gonzalo’s biggest enemy is himself (mentally.)

To me the turning point was the game vs Udinese - The moment I saw Higuain working his heart out for the team is when I knew he has got that fire in him and it showed in his recent goals.

I hope he will maintain or improve this level of play because it’s great to see.

I think working for the team / high work rate is something that is ingrained in this modern Juve so whether you are paid 90mil to score goals or not, everyone is expected to carry that responsibility. So I am really pleased to see he is doing this as well.

Higuain had 7 goals after 11 rounds in 16/17. This season its 6. What a massive decline eh :andyandbarcelona:
He played more this season though, didn't he?

What? :D it actually flows much better with "Matri" instead of "Higuain"

Ah okay, so they fully pronounce segnare :D Thought that was accent and not rhythmic, like siam instead of siamo

But yeah it flows much better

Always seems daft to question a guy who has 100 goals in 150 games.
Just to be clear, there's a difference between those who think he's a provincial striker and those who criticize him because they expect more from a world class striker.

He's one of our best players so the standard is higher. Even Allegri keeps saying that Higuaín can do much more.
