Family problems could be the explanation because his body language speaks "weak". He looks way more fit than he did last year and he had a lot of time to rest and build some proper form.

These things affect everybody so here's hoping he gets that weight off his shoulders soon.

I really like Higuain. Many here dislike him, mostly because of the pricetag I guess but it's not like he decided to pay it for himself. We wanted a striker and couldn't find any, so we spent big on this guy. No problem for me.

We really need another proper striker though. Higuain should be benched from time to time I guess, because nobody can play 50 matches a season.

My only criticism of Higuain is his weight.

Our system does not suit him but he should at the very least, he should give himself every chance to play well and he's not doing that by being in the current shape he's in.

Doesn't "pipita" mean you have a belly in Argentinian slang? Thats been his nickname for a while. But then again idk if they call him that because of his dad.
Dunno about the meaning of his nickname. But to me it's obvious that body wise Higuain in Napoli and Higuain in Juve are two different weight categories

Is hard to think not being called up for Argentina is positevely affecting him just cause he stays at Vinovo to 'get in shape'... his lack of confidence is obvious and from a mental point of view this whole Argentina thing just seems to make him weaker ... hope he figures it all out and gets back to being at his best because we do need a in-form hitman.

He's nicknamed El Pipita because his father was nicknamed El Pipa, it's the diminutive form. Pretty funny when you see the size of him now. Pipa = pipe, because his father has a nose like Zlatan.

Thank you. I speak Spanish and for some reason it never occured to me that it meant little pipe. Along with someone spreading misinformation on the internet about argentinian slang.
