He never did but he lead Dortmund to a CL final
And lost... according to the geniuses here, losing a CL final is the exact same thing as going out in the group stage. So colour me unimpressed.

I never said its a vast margin, where do you get that from ?

I said 2-3 times now that i rate Higuain
That wasn't in reference to you.

Can someone remind of the season that Lewandowski led Bayern to a CL title? I seem to have forgotten it... :boh:
It's kinda funny that we are lucky to have the striker who actually did this :delpiero:
Absolute legend and pure worldclass. A top player for generations to remember.

He tried it with us again but Juventus DNA was stronger

Winning a CL or not does not measure how great a player you are imo. Winning a CL is so freaking hard and everything has to click in the right moments for you to win it

Mandzukic is pure class. He is an absolute asshole often, but cant take away from him that he is a big game player

Its interesting how different players are viewed. So Higuain is this huge choker who doesnt win major tournaments. Well, Lewandowski hasnt played in CL final since left Dortmund. 3 years now at Bayern no CL.Im not going to compare the national teams cause that would be unfair, but so far neither player has won the CL. And both players are scoring for fun in their domestic leagues.

Dont get me wrong, Lewndowski is one of the best no 9s but you can actually make a case he and Higuain are more similar than people say. Higuain did assist our goal in the final, and i wouldnt blame Higuain on our loss or not win. Yes the money spent was huge but there were other players who you can also criticize, likewise you could say Bayern hasnt reached CL final since Lewa went there but its not really only his fault or is it now. I think both players contribute to team play. Higuain has had games where he assists another player and Lewandowski has had games where he assists some other player ("vision").

Well im trying to give you my opinion why he is better/more complete than Higuain

Lewandowski simply got the full package - Higuain not

at least thats how i see it
And I don't agree, they both have the same style, not the fastest or trickiest outside the occasional moves, mainly rely on teams service, very good at positioning and strong finishers. Again I don't see what Lewa's more complete at.

This motherfucker, in his first season for Juve, scored 32 goals.

In the world of Messi and Ronaldo, this is nothing. In the world of Juventus, this was the third best season record in the club's history. The two times when a Juve player scored more than Higuain in one season were like 100 years ago (83 and 91 years ago), when matches finished 9:6 or 8:7.

And he did this a year after he set an all time capocannoniere record.

The dude is doing his job, and more.

My favourite time frame was when he scored a brace against Chievo, then sucked dick against barca, then scored a brace against Pescara, then proceded to suck more dick against Barca.

4 goals in 4 games tho. Worldclass player.

No. The time frame you can't get over is from minute 46 to minute 90 in the CL final. Hurts the rest of us too. Clouds our judgement. Some find it easier to blame an individual.

Lewa has 40 goals in 61 apps in the CL. Higuaín is far from being as good in Europe.

Stats indicate that Higuain is a non factor in the CL, and he's also a non factor for his country. He's a wonderful striker and a WC player in his position, but let's not exaggerate his accomplishments simply because he plays for us.

That part is obviously not true.

Higuain played in 5 big tournaments for Argentina. In the knock-out stages of these 5 tournaments (2 world cups and 3 Copa America), Argentina scored 20 goals in 13 knock out matches. Higuain scored 8 of these 20 goals (Di Maria 3, Messi 2, Tevez 2 and five other players scored a goal). So, he's far from being a non-factor for his NT.
It's the finals where he and the other Argie attackers failed. 0 goals in 3 (lost) finals.
