Instead reading and listening football experts, coaches, famous players, journalists I read "Marc" who thinks is so powerful and smart that even Allegri will appreciate his knowledge and change first 11. Who is more idiot. Me for sure :sergio:
Wrong. I don't think highly about myself. I'm humble.

Rules of this forum doesnt allow me be more specific about you. If I was smart I wouldnt even know you exist just like your most mentioned player here. Bye, bye, I read enough on this forum and even more

Dont get me wrong. You are not only one. Some others doing same with Khedira, Bonucci, Gonzalo etc. Talking all day sell, bench again and again like someone really will just because them. You are just less smart. Reading all of that is completely useless in my life.

Most people are just taking the piss when they say that kind of stuff. Everyone knows that we have zero influence on what Don Beppe and Master Elkann do behind the scenes. But if you know people are going to write that stuff, and you're affected by it, you could just choose ignore it ;), rather than berating someone

So what do you guys think after a year? Was it a wrong transfer?
compared to tevez a couple of years ago, their price/performance ratio couldn't be more different

on a more serious note, higgy delivers in the championship and chokes in finals, just as expected. he's hard working, i have no issues with his mentality, and he never lost it on the pitch, as he regularly did when he played for nipples. he's a very good striker, he's got that killer instinct in front of goal, uses tight spaces very well, but he's mostly useless from outside the box, too slow for counters, bad with one-on-one situations, and too hesitant when he's got time to think. still, one of our key players obviously. and he was fucking expensive, of course.

we payed ~110m for him, rincon and lemina; i'd be happier to have morata and fabinho from the same amount. but that's on beppe, i don't blame piggy for our transfer strategy.

if tevez was a 9,5/10 buy (probably the best one from beppe, along with pirlo and vidal), then piggy's first year is a 7,5/10 for me. if beppe brings in some more effective wingers and we manage to keep sandy (which is unlikely), higgy might have an even better year.

I think it was a good decision because we needed a WC striker and no other was available. People might say we could have purchased Griezmann for such amount but if he was on the market teams like City, ManU and PSG would offer him double the wages.

:agree: For 90 million, I wanted a difference maker in Europe, not Serie A. We would've probably won Serie A without him anyway. I mean, we won it comfortably for five consecutive seasons before he joined us.

For some reason, I've not thought about from this point of view. So does anyone see a viable option our management would've/should've chosen instead of Gonzalo?

Was a terrible transfer when their was so many holes in the team.

€90 million on a player who is slowly declining and if he gets injured we don't have the depth to replace.

Money should have been used on 2-3 quality players in various positions to fill up the team

Higuain has been overused all season and we all know it. Our lack of depth upfront was ridiculous and it affected both Dybala and Higuain.

Declining? he had his best season for Napoli. Yes 90mill is too much but he did his job, scored a lot of goals and I dont even like Higuain.

I think you are a barca fan :D they hate him as well because they blame him for loosing those finals not Messi. :alen:

    :agree:

Many said at the start of the season that we didn't have enough strikers (even for 3-5-2) but were assured that wasn't a problem.
